Project Objectives

  • Organize at least three calls for business ideas, one in each of the Municipalities of Berati, Fieri and Devolli
  • Deliver a business development/start-ups training course to 30 returnees from Berati, Fieri and Devolli
  • Provide mentoring in preparation of the business plan for not less than 40 participants of the training
  • Provide ongoing mentoring to the 20 grant winners and coach them towards growing, formalizing their business and providing job opportunities to other peer returnees

Outcomes of the project

applicants were selected as beneficiaries
21 from Berat, 24 from Fier and 18 from Devoll

group meetings took place in each municipality where the participants had the opportunity to explore the labor market, start preparation of firsts drafts of business plan and register in the employment office as jobseekers.

Roma children were supported with school packages and bags in Berat, Devoll and Fier municipalities

applications were collected in total from the municipalities of Fier, Berat and Devoll, of which 61 applications in Fier, 55 applications in Berat and 39 applications in Devoll

participants in total (33 participants in Fier, 40 participants in Berat and 50 participants in Devoll), of which 47 were women and 76 were men informed on the program.
